How the Brand name came about…
Starting a brand is always a challenge, but we’ve managed to push through. Delving into the roots of barbering, we discovered that not too long ago, barbers also served as ‘dentists/surgeons’. This historical connection is reflected in the traditional barber pole’s colours of blue, white, and red, symbolising the wrapping of bloody rags around the pole. Intrigued by this revelation, we delved further and stumbled upon the word ‘Novocaine’, a drug used for pain relief during tooth extractions. Inspired by this rich history, we aimed to pay homage to the past while infusing a bold, contemporary essence into the industry.

Every great journey begins with a story. Ours is no different. Established in 2024, we embarked on a mission to provide high-quality services at reasonable prices. What originated as an instant friendship between Jonny Dove and Kenny back in 2018 has now evolved into a warm studio space that we proudly call our own. Thanks to the dedication, and unwavering support of our team and loyal customers this wouldn’t of happened.
